What is Roblox RP?
Roblox RP means roleplay within a Roblox experience. You play a character, make choices, and build stories with other players. A shift at work, a trip across town, or a traffic stop can become the start of a shared story.
Different experiences create different kinds of roleplay. Some center on emergency services. Others give everyday life, work and social interactions more room. Roblox describes roleplay and life simulation as a space where people can inhabit roles and explore shared worlds.
Roblox, ERLC and FiveM: how they fit together
Roblox is the platform. It hosts experiences made by different creators. Pogside RP is being developed for Roblox.
Emergency Response: Liberty County (ERLC) is a Roblox experience. Made by Police Roleplay Community, its official description focuses on emergency-services simulation and roles including civilians, criminals, transportation workers and first responders.
FiveM is a different ecosystem. It is a multiplayer modification framework for Grand Theft Auto V that supports customized servers. When we talk about FiveM-style RP, we mean inspiration from that style of shared-world storytelling. Pogside is a Roblox project.
The city we’re building in Pogside RP
Our goal is a realistic open-world Roblox roleplay game where civilian life, player economies, first responders and criminal stories connect. We want the people living in the city to matter as much as the events happening around them.
A civilian’s work, a purchase, a place to call home, and the choices made on either side of the law should all give players reasons to cross paths. These are the ambitions guiding development; the homepage previews show the direction through clearly labeled concept artwork.
For concrete information, start with the Pogside RP player wiki. It covers current development systems such as characters, crafting, banking, housing and vehicles. Guides describe development gameplay, and individual playtest builds may differ.
New to roleplay? Start with a small story.
Give your character a simple reason to be in the city. Choose an everyday goal, listen to the people around you, and leave room for someone else’s story. A believable conversation often gives you more to work with than trying to be the center of every scene.
Check each game or server’s rules before joining. Roleplay expectations, available roles and access can differ. For Pogside, the community is where to follow development and find current playtest announcements.
